Sweet Sweater

This was inspired by a sweater I saw at Anthropologie. I thought, "I can do that." So I did.

Red always gives a little pop...

These circle appliques were shown on an adorable skirt by Boden.

Oh I love the gathered applique - very pretty! What a lovely way to embellish your sweater! I'm inspired!

Thanks! It was really fun to do...it would also be fun on a baby sweater, don't you think? Little bunnies or giraffes? :)

Adorable! I love finding something at the store and being able to create it at home!

I've been noticing how folks are putting these little fabric flowers on t-shirts etc. Do you use a iron-on (can't remember what it's called) to adhere it to the shirt and then stitch it or does the stitching hold it in place? Do you put fray check around the edges so the fabric won't fray?
