French Market Bag

So far, just about everything that I have made with this fabric has sold. So I thought I'd try a French Market bag. This bag is the perfect size for toting things. I guess that's why they call them totes (hee hee). The inside of the pocket is cute-cute red and white gingham.
The letter is pinned on as an example for someone to personalize it if they want. I had originally made one of these bags to sell in my shop, but just couldn't part with it. But here is one for someone else to enjoy....

That is so lovely - now I have to go back to the patchwork store 'cause I know just the fabric I need to make one!!!! I love how you use trims - very pretty.

A happy place I have stumbled upon...your blog!!

Love your style and am IN LOVE with the "I wish I had a baby girl" hat. I, too, am a mama to boys. 2 not 3 though.

I actually wrote a post all about what I would imagine would be your mind set and motivation behind your hat creation: I got the fever.

It seems we all have those yearnings....thank goodness for sewing and little girl customers!!!

Will be back to visit!!!

This is great! I have a bunch of colored burlap that I bought with the intention of making some sort of bag. Seeing your version makes me want to revisit the idea :)
