Fourth Advent Sunday Blessing

Our church pageant is a highlight of the advent season. Little angels wandering all over the stage, shepherds tripping up the stairs, rough-and-tumble-boys turned into wise men, high schoolers in choir robes, and the congregation holding candles singing "Silent Night." I love it.

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests." (Luke 2:14)

Have a great Sunday!

I didn't get any pictures of my little angels. My littlest angel was wearing her sparkling red Mary Janes under her white gown...not by design. We weren't planning on her being in the pageant, so she got to pick her own clothes, but it was actually really cute! I just totally missed out on the photo op!

Is this not the quintessential American Christmas program? I love it. All of your Christmas posts have been so much fun. And I get tickled over and over again when I think about your parting comment about the Moravian star..."We also seem to poke our heads on it a lot." Merry, merry Christmas, Vicki K.
